Man Arrested for stalking Miley!

According to the ‘Savannah Morning News’, an Appling, Georgia man was arrested in Tybee Island for obstruction in June after telling police he was engaged to Miley Cyrus.

Mark McLeod, 53, made the statement as he stood among the throngs of fans at the Tybee Island pier, even before he said the teen star communicated with him through secret messages in photos and her “Hannah Montana” TV show.

McLeod, 53, first drew attention during the carnival scene shoots for “The Last Song” movie, last month because he was walking up to young girls and making “inappropriate comments,“ Tybee Island police said.

When officers approached him, the McLeod began screaming obscenities and had to be subdued in double-locked handcuffs. He also tried to head-butt one of the arresting officers on the way to the patrol car, Tybee police reported.

This is not the first time McLeod has been seen at a Cyrus event and not the first time he has drawn attention from law enforcement.

The reason given for McLeod’s release in Tybee Island was because of Chatham County Jail overcrowding, and that Tybee Island police did not believe he was a threat to himself, or others.
